I've discovered eTwinning in 2009, during an ETEN conference in the Netherlands. I signed up as soon as I got back home from the conference. The good part was I had no problem signing in. The bad part was Macedonian NSA wasn't available. So, I kinda forgot about it for few years.
And then, talking with a colleague last November, she reminded me of it. I talked about it to the school principal and she phoned the NSA and (what do you know!) - the next week they appeared in the school with all sorts of promotional materials. And it all started there and then. So far, in these past few months I'm working with eTwinning, I participated in 5 projects (some still open) with at least 35 students (groups in different projects). I was an active member of at least 5 LE and I can't even count all the Online events and webinars I've actively participated in. I'm not in it for the certificates, I want to learn. One of the greatest achievements I can think of when talking about eTwinning, other than the collaboration and students' active participation and collaboration in projects, is hearing about all the outside-of-eTwinning courses that are available. I'd never have heard about them if not for eTwinning. I've successfully finished 2, this is my 3rd and already applied and am approved for 2 more (1 in June and the other in September). So, what is eTwinning for me?
Thank you eTwinning!

It's always good to introduce oneself at the beginning. But what to say? Can anyone be objective about themselves when meeting new group of people? That's why I'm glad there were few starting points! And creative too!
The way I understood it, I should start with: a) 3 things about me that I'd tell about first , b) 2 things that I'm good at unrelated to my job c) what would I do if I were not a teacher. So now, there are few types of introductions I thought about:
Guess which I chose!? |
